'Housewives' star critical after crash

Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident.

The star, who plays Susan's boyfriend Jackson, was taken to USC Medical Centre, where he is awaiting further tests.

Harold suffered a fractured shoulder and swelling of the brain in the smash, which happened early on Tuesday.

Housewives creator Marc Cherry said that Harold was expected to fully recover, adding that at least one scene would have to be rewritten in his absence.
