Joan Collins has revealed that she would love to star in Desperate Housewives.
The 74-year-old actress was shortlisted to play Sophie - the mother of Teri Hatcher's character Susan Mayer - in the Golden Globe-winning TV series in 2005, but lost out to American actress Lesley Ann Warren.
However, she refused to give up on her dream of appearing on Wisteria Lane, saying: "Desperate Housewives is one of the best things ever to hit television. I'd jump at a television series."
