'Kidnapped' star joining 'Housewives'?

Dana Delany has entered talks to join the cast of Desperate Housewives.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Delany has been approached to play a woman called Katherine who arrives on Wisteria Lane with her younger husband, Adam - played by Firefly's Nathan Fillion - and her daughter, Dylan (Lyndsy Fonseca).
Delany was the original choice for the character of Bree, but she turned the role down and it went to Marcia Cross.
Dana's most recent role has been on NBC drama Kidnapped.
