'Housewives' musical episode on the cards?

If rumours are true, actress Teri Hatcher – Susan Mayer in the ABC drama – could be flexing her vocal cords as she did in 1999 when she played Sally Bowles in the musical Cabaret.
Nicollette Sheridan, who appears as Edie Britt in the show, has help at hand in the form of her fiancé – singing legend Michael Bolton – who she sang a duet with on his latest album.
Housewives is following in the footsteps of Buffy The Vampire Slayer which aired an Emmy-nominated episode in a similar format in season six. Scrubs also penned a musical episode in its sixth season entitled 'My Musical'.
