Teri Hatcher tones up for 'Housewives'

Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher has begun a fitness regime in a bid to achieve a body which she believes is comparable to those of her co-stars on the show.

Teri - who plays Susan Mayer in the ABC drama - has reportedly hired a dietician and a personal trainer to help get her in shape before filming beings on the fourth series of the Wisteria Lane-based programme next month.

A source close to the actress told The Sun: "Every year Teri gets going on a new regime.

"She takes her image and her health very seriously. That, and she doesn't want to be shown up by any of the other girls!"

A musical episode of Desperate Housewives is also rumoured to be in the making.
