Beyoncé lined up for 'Housewives' role?

Beyoncé Knowles is allegedly in talks with Desperate Housewives producers to star in the hit ABC show.

According to website Media Take Out, the singer's manager father Mathew Knowles is looking to make the 'Crazy In Love' star a permanent Wisteria Lane resident.

A source from Knowles's camp is quoted as saying: "They've already agreed to give Beyoncé a cameo appearance. But [we're] hoping that [she] could be written in for a recurring role, or possibly even a permanent one."

Beyoncé's acting credits include Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Pink Panther and Dreamgirls.
