S02E08: 'The Sun Won't Set'

Everybody deals with loss in their own way and Gabrielle Solis is no different – and it’s shopping that eases her pain. Carlos struggles to come to terms with the recent news and Gabrielle returns home to find an unfamiliar face on her doorstep, Hector, who claims Carlos sent him to protect her. After attempting to pay Hector off to leave her alone, Gabrielle gets in his car en route for the bank. Hector has a different idea and takes her to the park, confessing he wasn’t sent to protect her after all. Instead, Hector helps Gabrielle realise what a great loss she has suffered and helps her to let go…

Lynette returns home to find the twins out after dark, prompting Tom to teach them how to be safe and not talk to strangers. Lynette, as always, has a plan up her sleeve and asks Stu from her office to help prove a point.

An inquisitive Susan can’t trace her father in the marine records on the information that her mother had given. However, she later learns some shocking news about her father at her mother’s wedding. During the reception, Sophie decides it’s time that Susan hears the whole truth about who her father really is...

Bree's ‘engagement’ to George hits a bump when George’s ex-fiancée, Leila Mitzman, turns up at Bree’s house to ward her off George. Taking no notice, Bree continues as normal until the pair dine at a restaurant where George continues to ask Bree to wear her engagement ring. Things take a turn for the worse when Bree comes across old college friend Ty Grant. George snaps, showing his true colours, forcing Bree to call off their ‘engagement’ altogether.

Meanwhile, residents of Wisteria Lane continue to be panicked about the intruder who is loose in their midst. The Applewhites maintain their search for Caleb following his escape from their cellar, but it isn’t long before Mike and his canine companion, Bongo, cross tracks with the dark, shadowy character…
