S02E09: 'That's Good, That's Bad'
Lynette decides it’s time to take charge of office politics and confront Nina about her foul attitude towards others after an ad-project goes down like a lead balloon. Hoping to right the flop, Lynette visits the office after hours to pick up her portfolio and discovers more than she expects, resulting in Lynette finding herself even higher up the in-house ladder…

After witnessing the real George Williams in action, Bree stands her ground and continues to brush him off. Bree visits the hospital to see her therapist, Dr Goldfine, and when he reveals that a person with a blue bike pushed him off the bridge, realisation hits home.

George later calls Bree in a state of panic when he finds the police raiding his house. Later, at a charity function, George checks into a room at the same venue and sends Bree a note via a porter: ‘Bree, I can’t live with you thinking I’m a bad person. I’ve taken some pills. If you could do me one last kindness, please come up and say goodbye. I’m in room # 617. George’. A phone call from Detective Barton reveals that the police found incriminating evidence in George’s house which leads them to believe that George was responsible for Rex’s death. Bree makes her way up to his room in the lift, only to find him still alive on his bed. She soon confronts him about what he did to Dr Goldfine and ultimately her husband, only to leave him over-dosed on the bed claiming an ambulance is on its way…

Carlos returns home after receiving early parole. Although Gabrielle is glad to have Carlos home, she isn’t too fond of his new religious attitude and certainly takes a disliking to his new 'holier-than-thou' confidante, Sister Mary Bernard. When Gabrielle shows Sister Mary the door, they have cross words on the porch, effectively waging war.

Meanwhile, Susan finally confronts her father, Addison Purdy, resulting in him suffering a heart attack. A visit to the hospital shows Susan what kind of a person he is on the outside after telling her she was a mistake. Mr. Purdy’s wife turns up, oblivious to Susan’s true identity. Just before Susan leaves, she whispers to her father that she’s not going to give up on him.
