S02E15: 'Thank You So Much'
Susan and Karl finalise the arrangements for their sham wedding which will ensure Susan has a health plan in time for her operation. Problems arise when Karl asks for her original wedding ring back as Susan reveals she threw it out when she learned of Karl's infidelity. Susan and Dr Ron Berman bump into Edie and Karl at a restaurant and Edie takes great pleasure in rubbing the past in Susan's face. Edie is under the deluded impression that Karl is going to propose to her. What will her reaction be when realisation finally hits? And will Karl and Susan tie the knot for the second time?

Gabrielle gets a shock when she returns home to find her mother, Lucia, has turned up out of the blue. Carlos and Gabrielle pay a visit to the fertility clinic and the doctor delivers some bad news. Lucia, however, has ideas of her own…

Refusing to tolerate her mother’s interference, Gabrielle turfs her out to a hotel. Later, an emotional conversation between Gabrielle and Carlos reveals why Gabrielle has such strong negative feelings about her mother when her traumatic past comes to the fore. Lucia, however, reveals a different course of events – who will Carlos believe?

Bree continues to find it difficult to cope with life and it seems that alcohol is the only thing that suppresses her pain. The morning after her heavy drinking session, Mrs McCluskey finds Bree sleeping on her front lawn. Andrew knows exactly how to wake her up…

Lynette and Tom have babysitting troubles and upset Mrs McCluskey in the process. In desperation, Lynette turns to her good friend Bree in her time of need. The twins, Parker and Preston, start to make too much noise for Bree's liking and she turns to another bottle of chardonnay. Bree falls to sleep while holding baby Penny and the twins take it upon themselves to visit their parents.

Lynette finally uncovers the extent of Bree's problem and seeks to show Bree herself that she has to put an end to it…
