S03E01: 'Listen To The Rain On The Roof'

Flashback: Alma, wife of Orson Hodge, has lived a confined life. Everything was perfect, until one day Alma decided to break free from her relationship. Before she makes it out of the door, however, Orson returns. But to what extent will Orson go to control the one he loves?

It was six months ago that Bree went on her first date with Orson; Gabrielle started her divorce proceedings; Lynette found hospitality for Tom's illegitimate daughter, Kayla, and old flame, Nora; Susan found out that Mike was in a terrible car accident and Edie prepared the Young house for potential buyers.

Lynette prepares the family for their Christmas photograph, but is disheartened when Nora imposes herself on the portrait. She then organises a birthday party for Parker - but doesn't invite Nora. Things don't go quite to plan when Nora turns up and Tom is forced to put his foot down.

Gabrielle, meanwhile, waits on pregnant Xiao Mei, who is starting to take advantage of Gabrielle's temporary good nature. Xiao Mei isn't impressed when Gabrielle threatens to deport her back to China. Gabrielle somehow manages to lose Xiao Mei and turns to Carlos for help. It's not long before Gaby receives a call informing her that Xiao Mei's in safe hands.

Bree finds herself in an uncompromising position when Orson asks for her hand in marriage. She accepts his proposal and arranges dinner with the rest of the Wisteria Lane housewives. A steamy night of passion between the pair results in Bree taking an unforseeable trip to the hospital. And at the engagement party, an uninvited guest turns up on Bree's doorstep with a disturbing revelation.

Elsewhere, Susan continues to visit the hospital where Mike lays in a coma. She struggles to decide what to do when a relative of another person in a coma asks her out to dinner; and Edie's still trying to sell Mary Alice's old house.
