Even though they are finally happy with each other, Marissa and Ryan are forced to stay apart by their parents, Sandy and Julie.
Meanwhile, Dean Hess pressures Seth and Summer into showing Harbor school spirit, which leads them to come up with a covert plan to bring Marissa and Ryan together. When Summer and Seth's plan works, Marissa and Ryan have a night to remember and Seth and Summer get busted by Taylor.
Meanwhile, Caleb's will is read, leaving Julie stunned and Jimmy washed up.
