S03E18: 'The Undertow'

Jess returns to The O.C. to give Ryan a belated birthday present from his brother and an invite to learn more about what Trey is up to now. The present is a small toy car - an "inside thing", as a despondent Ryan later explains to Seth. Eventually curiosity gets the better of Ryan and he pays Jess a visit - but what does she really want?

Dr Griffiths from the board visits Sandy to let him know there have been complaints about Matt's parties, gambling and drinking. He delivers Sandy an ultimatum - either remove Matt from the project or they lose the deal on the hospital...

Taylor takes more than a passing interest in Summer and Seth's sex life, appointing herself their decicated sex therapist in the process. Will she help them find their missing spark?

Meanwhile, Marissa and Volchok continue to grow closer...
