BBC One drops tonight's 'Waterloo Road'

BBC One has announced that it will drop tonight's instalments of Waterloo Road and DIY SOS.

Following yesterday's election coverage, last-minute plans will see Tuesday's scheduled Holby City air tonight at 8pm after EastEnders, which was also postponed from last night.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Waterloo Road will resume on Wednesday, May 26 in its usual 8pm timeslot. DIY SOS is yet to be rescheduled.

Junior Apprentice remains as billed, whereas the News At Ten will be extended to 45 minutes.
