Last week we brought you a picture preview of episode one and now it's time to take a look at episode two, which focuses on an eventful Careers Day at the school.
Former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson makes a small guest appearance in the episode, taking on the role of Mandy Bellow, a local beauty salon owner who comes along to the careers fair.
Later, Mandy ends up advising a student in a way that she hadn't anticipated when she meets Year 12 pupil Martin Dunbar (Matt Greenwood), who is branded a "perv" by his classmates when he's caught looking at a lingerie magazine and creeping around the girls' changing rooms.
However, the true explanation behind the teenager's behaviour is far more complicated - Martin has gender identity disorder and wants to live as a girl. As the truth comes out, Mandy will be among those on hand to support the troubled student.
Catch these scenes next Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
