'Castaway' star joins 'Bad Girls'

Castaway star Amanda Donohoe is to patrol the wings of HMP Larkhall as she joins the cast of Bad Girls.

Amanda will play the part of Louise Stoke, a wing governeror who is drafted in to replace the deceased Jim Fenner (Jack Ellis).

A show insider told The Sun: "Lou is fiery, sassy and outspoken. She has very different ideas to the Governor Joy Masterton - and she is not afraid to fight for them."

A spokeswoman for the show added: "We are thrilled. Amanda is a fabulous addition."

Joining Amanda will be Sid Owen, who will appear as latest G-wing prison officer, Donny Kimber. Filming of series eight is scheduled to begin next week.
