More filming disruption hits Corrie
Coronation Street filming is being disrupted on a daily basis by a noisy air-conditioner.

Outdoor scenes on the Street are being halted for 10 minutes each day due to the racket. The machine is located at the nearby Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.

An insider told The Mirror: "The noise is picked up by microphones and apparently there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it."

Filming for the ITV1 soap has been thrown into chaos in recent weeks. Several scenes have been scrapped after a number of cast members took time off due to illness. Meanwhile, other scenes had to be re-shot after Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt) was seen wearing an offensive T-shirt on camera.

Work on the forthcoming DVD spin-off has also been disrupted. It was reported yesterday that cast members filming in South Africa were horrified by an encounter with a wild baboon as they shot a scene.
