Corrie stars to appear on 'Millionaire'
Coronation Street stars Samia Smith and Jennie McAlpine will appear on a celebrity edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The pair, who play Maria Connor and Fiz Brown on the ITV soap, will team up to raise money for the charities Cancer Research UK and the Mood Swings Network, says The Sun.

Sally Whittaker (Sally Webster) and Michael Starke (Jerry Morton) will also face questions from Chris Tarrant on the quiz show. Their winnings will be donated to Action Aid and Zoe's Place baby hospice.

The Corrie edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? airs August 16 on ITV1.
