Corrie star Flanagan reveals goth woes

The 18-year-old actress admitted that she hated being asked to dress in unusual clothes when the ITV1 soap's producers came up with an image overhaul for Rosie Webster.
"I'm so chuffed Rosie's goth stage is over, because that went on forever," Flanagan explained. "I had to wear these black mini-skirts - I remember one of them was for a nine-year-old. I'd be like, 'Oh Mum, I don't want to wear that!' And she'd say, 'Come on Helen, if you want to be an actress, you've got to be professional.'"
Asked about her character's current style, she replied: "I like to look sexy, but not tarty. Luckily, I do pretty well as Rosie - she's a glamorous girl, kind of a sassy secretary, so it's all pencil skirts, which I love, and a lot of low-cut tops. I don't want people looking at my boobs or want to be known for my boobs, but Corrie is a family show so thankfully they never go too far with it."
Flanagan recently announced that she wants Rosie to start working behind the bar at the Rovers.
