Kat Kelly: 'I don't feel broody'
Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly has insisted that she doesn't feel broody following the recent spate of pregnancies on the show's set.

The 29-year-old actress, who plays Becky Granger on the ITV1 soap, admitted that she is happy spending time with her co-stars' new arrivals and has no current plans for a child of her own.

Julia Haworth (Claire Peacock), Andrew Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw), Alison King (Carla Gordon), Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt), Wanda Opalinska (Vicki Dankowska) and Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) have all become parents in the past 18 months.

Meanwhile, Graeme Hawley (John Stape), Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) and Samia Smith (Maria Connor) are also expecting children with their partners.

Speaking to the News Of The World, Kelly revealed: "We all joke on set: 'Don't sit in this chair. This chair gets you pregnant'.

"Having all the babies around has satisfied my maternal instincts. At any moment one could be being passed around the cast!"

Kelly has been in a relationship with theatre actor Oliver Williams, also 29, for the past five years. The couple started dating after performing together with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
