According to The Sun, a memo has been posted in the greenroom for the attention of all cast members which stipulates various new guidelines pertaining to smoking, timekeeping and set visits.
The report goes on to claim that those who ignore the memo will be issued an on-the-spot fine of £200.
The set smoking ban now extends studio-wide to include actors' dressing rooms, while visits to the studio by friends and family must be sanctioned in writing and last no longer than 30 minutes.
Punctuality has been addressed as late arrivals to work will allegedly be fined "no matter what the excuse". Music has also been banned from the greenroom and a 'silence please' notice is now visible.
Actors who are parents have been asked to limit how often they take their children to work. In addition, actors' pets must be kept off-site.
A source told the tabloid: "The cast feel they are being treated like naughty children. Some are talking about considering some sort of industrial action that would see them working to rule."
