High drama ahead for Corrie's Claire
Coronation Street's Claire Peacock will be left fighting for her life in a dramatic summer storyline, it has been revealed.

Doctors discover that the cab driver has a life-threatening clot on her lung after she suffers a miscarriage.

The scenes will come following weeks of heated rows between Claire (Julia Haworth) and her husband Ashley (Steven Arnold), who was unaware of her pregnancy.

A source told The Sun: "It's going to be a terrible time for Ashley. He realises how much his wife means to him - but is it all too late?"

Haworth returned to the ITV1 soap earlier this year following a period of maternity leave. The actress gave birth to her first child Sophia in July 2008.
