Rex Features
Over the years, 29-year-old Kelly - who portrays loudmouth barmaid Becky Granger - has become good friends with Jones, who starred as Steve McDonald's (Simon Gregson) second wife Karen McDonald.
Speaking in the latest issue of Radio Times, Kelly said: "I'd love to work with [Suranne]. She's so up for coming back just to have a fight. She says she'd love to come back for the 50th [in 2010]."
She added: "We could tear each other to bits. Or else get on really well and slag Steve off, which would worry him more. It'd be brilliant."

Coronation Street will celebrate its 50th anniversary in December 2010.
It was recently announced that producers are to recast the role of Gail Platt's (Helen Worth) eldest son Nick Tilsley.
The latest issue of the Radio Times, containing a full Coronation Street barmaid feature, is on sale now.
