Coronation Street's Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) finally breaks down during tonight's episode when he opens his estranged half-brother Ramsay's (Andrew Sachs) trunk.
Having shunned Ramsay's attempts at building bridges, Norris was stunned to learn that he died on his return flight home to Australia. The news knocked Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) for six, while Norris remained indifferent about his relative's passing.
Earlier this week, he received the news that Ramsay bequeathed his entire estate to him and during tonight's episode, an initially-reluctant Norris finally cracks under pressure from Emily and decides to look through his half-brother's belongings - and he's devastated by what he finds inside.
