Cavanagh: 'Julie wouldn't cheat with Jesse'

Coronation Street actress Katy Cavanagh has insisted that her character Julie Carp would not have an affair with her half-sister's boyfriend Jesse Chadwick (John Thomson).
During tonight's episode of the ITV1 show, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) is not impressed when Julie takes on the role of Jesse's sidekick Hia-Lowa.
When asked if an affair is on the cards, Cavanagh told DS on the red carpet at this year's Inside Soap Awards: "No, absolutely not! Julie would never do that to Eileen. Never ever, ever."
She teasingly added: "Who's to say, though… He's not exactly impressed Julie with his behaviour..."
