Coronation Street café owner Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is left with a huge burden on his shoulders after tonight's episode of the Weatherfield soap when Tony Gordon (Gray O'Brien) makes a shock deathbed confession.
Having been rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack on the cobbles, Tony asks that Roy stay with him so he doesn't die alone.
Roy's slightly taken aback when Tony confesses to smoking out the bats at the Victoria Court apartments development last year, but as Tony suffers another heart attack, he mutters that he was the one responsible for killing Liam.
Speaking about the scene, Neilson told DS: "Roy's called for help, he's pressed the panic button for the crash team and just as they enter, [Tony] blurts out, 'I killed Liam', then Roy's chucked out of the room. Roy's not sure whether he's heard it correctly..."
How will Roy deal with such an enormous secret?
