Corrie orders three Tony Gordon webisodes

Coronation Street producers have ordered three special monologue webisodes to give online fans of the soap an insight into Tony Gordon's murderous mind.
As Tony's (Gray O'Brien) storyline rumbles ever closer to its surprising climax, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) continues to pressurise the evil entrepreneur into confessing to the murder of Liam Connor.
Last week, Tony suffered a near-fatal heart attack and believing that he only had hours to live, he made a shock deathbed confession to Roy about his involvement in Liam's death.
Much to Roy's surprise, however, Tony survived his health scare and he has since been struggling to cope with the knowledge of Tony's murderous ways.
To tie in with the storyline, producers have filmed three special monologue scenes, which see Tony holding a gun and dictating a confession letter to his fiancée Maria (Samia Smith).
Each webisode is a different interpretation of the same script, further adding to the mystery over how Tony's time in Weatherfield will draw to a close.
Will he commit suicide by shooting himself? Will he hand himself in to the police? Or will he kill again by turning the gun on Roy or Maria?

The three special websodes will air exclusively on the soap's official website.
