Jones - who played Weatherfield's Blanche Hunt since 1974 - passed away yesterday morning at the age of 75, following a long illness.
Speaking of Jones's passing, Liz McDonald actress Beverly Callard said of her passing: "She was great actress and a great lady! A woman of such strength! It was an honour to be on set with her! We will all miss her so much."
Meanwhile, Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) commended: "We all feel so very sad but we know Maggie will be at peace with her beloved Joe. Working in the Barlows' will never be the same without Blanche. We loved her so much."
Coronation Street today confirmed that tonight's episode will be dedicated to Jones with a tribute.
Due to episodes being filmed out of sync, Jones will be seen in two further episodes airing on Monday and Friday next week.
