A desperate Joe McIntyre hopes for a fire sale on his wife Gail's house during tonight's Coronation Street, in a last-ditch attempt to solve his financial problems once and for all.
After a chat with Jason - and despite the warning that the offer will be significantly undervalue - the kitchen fitter puts in a call to For Peaks Properties and arranges a visit by one of their staff.
When the representative arrives, she begins taking pictures of No. 8 and ultimately offers him £35,000 less than the asking price. Joe's tempted, but Gail returns before he has time to accept.
