The Duchess of Cornwall took a stroll down Britain's most famous terrace this morning as she stopped by the set of ITV soap Coronation Street.
Camilla met with cast members including William Roache (Ken Barlow), Beverley Callard - who plays Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald - as well as veteran Barbara Knox (Rita Sullivan) to tie in with the start of the long-running soap's golden anniversary year.
When the visit was announced, director of ITV Studios John Whiston said: "We are very honoured to be graced by a visit from the Duchess of Cornwall. It's the perfect beginning to our 50th anniversary year."
