Ben Price reveals new Corrie love twists

Coronation Street star Ben Price has joked that viewers can expect his alter ego Nick Tilsley to work his way through all of the soap's female characters in the months ahead.

Weatherfield returnee Nick will soon be seen starting a fling with Underworld seamstress Kelly Crabtree (Tupele Dorgu) in a bid to pick up information about the factory.

The budding businessman, who has already shared a kiss with Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) since his comeback, later discovers from Kelly that Underworld owner Carla Connor (Alison King) desperately needs a business partner. He then makes a "rock bottom" offer for the company.

Price told The Sun: "Nick started with Tina, then he moved to Kelly. I'm getting through the whole of the Street, I'll be on to Rita by the end of the year!"

The actor added that he is expecting a storyline to soon develop between Nick and his ex-wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), as well as a growing chemistry between Nick and Carla.

He said: "You'll see him bump into Leanne soon. I'm sure stuff will come out of that - there's a story there. But at the moment we're not overplaying it.

"A slow burn would be better with Carla. Right now Nick is very good at separating business and pleasure. I've got a few more ladies to meander my way through before anything happens there I think."
