Lewis, played by veteran actor Nigel Havers, made his debut on the soap in December and viewers soon learned that he works as a gentleman escort.
In Thursday's episode of the ITV1 serial, Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox) spots an advert for Lewis's services while reading The Lady. She then books him for a date in secret, even though she knows her friend Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) is smitten with the Weatherfield charmer.
In a twist, real-life readers of The Lady can see Lewis's advert for themselves in this week's edition of the publication. The notice promotes a "discreet male escort" with "years of experience" and features a picture of Lewis alongside two fictional phone numbers.
A Coronation Street spokesperson told PA: "The Lady heard the magazine was going to feature in an episode, and they approached us with the idea of using the advert in the actual magazine."
In an interview earlier this year, Havers confirmed that he will continue filming with Corrie until July.
