Jack Duckworth tribute doc draws 7m

Coronation Street's special documentary on Jack Duckworth appealed to over 7m on Wednesday evening, according to overnight data.

Farewell Jack, featuring contributions from Bill Tarmey, Liz Dawn and Bill Roache, pulled in 7.02m (31.2%) for ITV1 at 7.30pm.

Prior to that, Paddy and Rhona's kiss in Emmerdale was seen by 7.69m (35%), a rise of 200k on yesterday's outing.

Meanwhile, the latest drama in Hollyoaks grabbed the attention of 1.33m (6.3%) at its usual time of 6.30pm on Channel 4, before 602k (2.7%) watched E4's first look.

Elsewhere, Doctors notched up 1.62m (22.6%), Neighbours picked up 868k (12%) at 1.45pm and 1.49m (9.2%) at 5.30pm, and Home and Away logged 416k (6.2%) at 2.15pm, 973k (5%) at 6pm, and 426k (2%) half-an-hour later for Fiver's first look.
