Creator Tony Warren told an event for the soap's 50th anniversary at the BFI Southbank that last year's scene in which Marsh's character Michelle Connor dropped her towel in front of builder Jake Harman had captured the imagination of Corrie's male viewers, PA reports.
Warren said: "Once, I paid for a taxi and didn't have enough change for a tip and the cabbie said, 'Don't worry - just give us another scene of Kym Marsh in a bath tub'."
Marsh, meanwhile, added that she was surprised by the interest in her towel-dropping encounter.
She said: "They're all fascinated by that scene. Everyone always asks about that and says, 'I can't believe you were naked in that scene!'
"I wasn't actually naked! I didn't actually strip off."
