Kevin Kennedy and Ken Morley have admitted that they would be open to reprising their respective Coronation Street roles on a permanent basis.

The popular duo have returned to play Curley Watts and Reg Holdsworth in the new spin-off DVD A Knight's Tale and told Digital Spy that they would be up for a return to the soap itself.

"It depends really - on what size of sack they were dragging behind them and what was in it!" Morley joked.

He confessed that ladies man Reg would make a "hopeless attempt to seduce" some of the Street's current female residents.

Of a possible return, Kennedy added: "That would be fine! Not only would I be in Manchester near my wife and children, I could go and see City more often!"

However, Morley stated that if they pair were to return, he would like to see the role reversal between the two continue from the DVD.
