The actress's Weatherfield character Sarah Platt was among those featured in the show's last live broadcast, which was part of its 40th anniversary celebrations ten years ago.
Reflecting on the experience, O'Brien told PA: "I was in the first scene. I had the opening line. I managed to get my lines right, which is always helpful!"
Asked what advice she would give to those involved in next month's live instalment, she replied: "I'd say good luck - it's terrifying."
Corrie's live transmission is taking place to mark the drama's 50th birthday and reports have suggested that it will focus on the aftermath of the forthcoming tram crash stunt.
O'Brien made her final appearance in Coronation Street in December 2007.
