Culshaw 'always wanted to impersonate Ken'

Jon Culshaw has revealed that he has always wanted to do an impression of Coronation Street character Ken Barlow.

The comedian has now incorporated the Street veteran into the new series of The Impressions Show With Culshaw And Stephenson. Ken will be shown having an affair with EastEnders character Pat Evans, as impersonated by Debra Stephenson.

He told PA: "We were just looking for an excuse to get him in. It's one of those sketches that seems right."

The characters will be seen having a "secret romantic tryst at a motorway service station" located between Walford and Weatherfield.
