POTD: Molly and Jack are trapped in Corrie

Published Tuesday, Dec 7 2010, 08:15 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly
Molly and baby Jack are among the Coronation Street residents left in serious danger in the aftermath of the tram crash.

Tonight's episode of the soap sees mother and son left trapped beneath rubble at the destroyed Corner Shop, while some of their neighbours search through the debris in an attempt to find them.

Sunita - who was also in the Corner Shop when the tram hit - is found by Becky and the barmaid alerts the emergency services to her discovery.

However, whether Molly and Jack will receive help in time remains unclear. The street's residents hear Jack crying beneath the rubble just before Molly drifts into unconsciousness…
