Nick Tilsley to face tram crash probe

Coronation Street character Nick Tilsley will be at the centre of the investigation into the tram crash, it has been revealed.

According to The Sun, the blame is pointed at Nick and builder Owen Armstrong as they failed to report a problem with the gas in The Joinery kitchen.

Actor Ben Price, who plays Nick, said: "He does feel very responsible. There are all types of blame as to why there was an explosion and why people died. But it's his bar."

Nick will apparently find it difficult to come to terms with Ashley Peacock's death. Price added: "That's worse for Nick than being trapped. The aftermath really takes its toll on him.

"The tram crash changes Nick's life and perspective. Viewers will see a different side to him."
