In Pictures: Christmas kisses in Corrie

More surprising moments lie ahead on Coronation Street this Christmas as some Weatherfield residents struggle to keep a lid on their passions.

Over the festive period, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and returnee Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) will be at the centre of some romantic drama as events on the cobbles heat up in the season of goodwill.

Struggling to cope with the injuries that her new husband Peter (Chris Gascoyne) suffered in the recent Joinery disaster, Leanne finds herself sounding off to ex-partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) - but things get complicated as it becomes clear that he still holds a torch for her.

When Nick seizes the opportunity to kiss her, Leanne can't help but respond - is their affair back on?

Meanwhile, once she makes her surprise comeback on the cobbles later this week, Tracy appears determined to make up for lost time by finding herself a man.

David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) is first on her hit list when he turns up on her doorstep in a confrontational mood following her vicious treatment of his mum Gail. However, David is in for a shock when he realises that Tracy has romance in mind and he soon succumbs to temptation.

However, Tracy later decides that she wants to try her luck with Nick as well and scores a double by locking lips with him...
