Keith Duffy starts prank war with co-stars

Coronation Street's Ryan Thomas has vowed to get his own back on Keith Duffy, after his co-star set him up on live radio.

The Herald reports that Duffy was appearing as a guest on FM104's Strawberry Alarm Clock with Mark Noble and Jim Jim Nugent, when he decided to play a phone prank on his friends from the Weatherfield soap's cast.

Thomas, who portrays builder Jason Grimshaw, was the only show member to answer the phone, prompting Duffy and the programme's hosts to pretend that Thomas was being approached for an appearance at an Irish nightclub.

When Duffy came clean about the prank, Thomas replied: "Duffy, you are finished. You are in big trouble now, mate."
