The 59-year-old appeared in the ITV soap last year as male escort Lewis Archer. Speaking to What's On TV, Havers said that the role had been a "highlight".
"I don't think I've had such fun in years - it was great and working with Sue Nicholls, who plays Audrey, was just a dream," he said. "If any actor gets offered Corrie, for heaven's sake take it because it's the best job in the world."
Asked about his future plans, he added: "I love costume drama such as the new Upstairs, Downstairs or Downton Abbey. People say, 'Why do you need two costume dramas?' Ridiculous. I'd like to see five or six personally, and I'd love to be in one of them!"
