Sean Tully is to start bringing up his long-lost son Dylan in a surprise Coronation Street twist, a report has revealed.

The barman and factory worker - played by Antony Cotton - will be reunited with Dylan at the end of next month when the child's mother Violet Wilson invites him to her home in London for the Easter holidays.

According to The Sun today, Sean's trip to the capital, which takes place in a special Easter episode, will spark big changes in his life as it paves the way for him to become a hands-on father at last.

It is thought that fans will see Sean raising Dylan with his former flame Marcus Dent, who is to rekindle his romance with the Rovers employee when he returns to the show in the same Easter episode.

Sean fathered Dylan with Violet by donating his sperm when she had fertility problems. However, Violet and her partner Jamie Baldwin later fled Weatherfield in an attempt to exclude Sean from his son's upbringing, leaving him heartbroken.

Reports say that Dylan will be played by 4-year-old twins Connor and Liam McCheyne, though the full circumstances surrounding the plot development remain unclear.
