After spending the night on Eileen's sofa, Liz sees a bleak future as she wakes up to a broken family and she soon starts making plans to leave Weatherfield once again.
Later, drowning her sorrows in a hotel bar, the Rovers landlady is surprised to come face-to-face with Jim, who explains that Andy has told him about her recent problems and where to find her.
As Liz tells all about Becky's behaviour, Jim is disgusted to hear what's been going on at the pub. He then encourages Liz to stick around and stand up for herself, offering a surprising suggestion that makes her see things in a new light…
