The long-standing Weatherfield resident has experienced a tough time recently following the break-in at her flat and her sacking from the factory, but things start to look up this evening as Trevor drops a bombshell by inviting her to go travelling around the world with him.
It doesn't take Janice long to realise that a fresh start is exactly what she wants and she soon says an emotional goodbye to a shocked Leanne.
Following her recent troubles, will Janice be able to leave the street with her head held high? And could she have one last act of Battersby mischief up her sleeve before she goes?
