Fans of the ITV1 soap have recently seen that Tracy remains hell-bent on breaking up Steve's marriage to Becky (Katherine Kelly) and winning back the pub landlord. Tracy (Kate Ford) played her latest card in last night's episodes when she schemed to expose their secret trip to Blackpool.
Speaking in an interview with Corrie's official site, Gregson commented: "I think Tracy's going to do anything she can to get back with Steve. Tracy's in love with Steve, wants to be with Steve and is trying everything in her arsenal to try and do it."
However, a new issue for Steve begins to develop later this week when David grows concerned for Max's welfare, believing that the youngster would be better off living with him and Kylie than with Becky and Steve.
Recent reports have suggested that David's concerns will lead to a social services investigation after he discovers how Becky bought Max from Kylie last year.
Although the full plot details remain unconfirmed, Gregson promised: "It isn't just Tracy he's got to be wary of - there's another few things on the horizon that are going to cause heaps of trouble for Steve. And Tracy is going to be the least of his problems after all of this goes off!"
The McDonalds have been tipped to remain at the forefront of Corrie for the rest of the year as viewers watch the build-up to Becky's exit unfold.
