Corrie's Graeme 'to make shock Xin decision'

Coronation Street's Graeme Proctor will leave girlfriend Tina McIntyre devastated by falling in love with wife Xin for real, a report has claimed.

According to the Daily Star, the soap's sham marriage storyline will take a surprising new twist in the coming weeks when Graeme starts to develop strong feelings for Xin (Elizabeth Tan), begging her not to leave Weatherfield as planned.

Towards the end of this month, Xin apparently decides to move away so that Graeme and Tina can be together again. However, it is thought that Graeme tells Xin that he cannot bear to lose her - which leads to the couple sharing a passionate kiss and sleeping together.

Later, Tina (Michelle Keegan) is expected to walk in on the pair kissing, before Graeme tells her: "I'm sorry Tina, but Xin and I love each other and want to be together forever."

As Graeme makes the shock decision to leave Weatherfield with his wife, a vengeful Tina reportedly threatens to inform the authorities of how they only ever tied the knot to keep Xin in the country.

A show source told the newspaper: "When Tina learns what is going on, she will be left seething and out for revenge. If she tells the authorities the truth it will send Graeme back to prison, and he is left with no choice but to flee the street with Xin."

Details of the rumoured plot twist remain unconfirmed but fans are already aware that Craig Gazey, who plays Graeme, is leaving Coronation Street. His final scenes will air in June.
