Last week, it was revealed that Carla - played by Alison King - will drunkenly make a move on Frank (Andrew Lancel) as she visits his house in a forthcoming storyline.
More details about the upcoming plot have emerged today as The Sun reports that Carla hits the booze at her mum's funeral before heading to Frank's home for comfort.
Earlier this year, Maria Connor accused Frank of trying to rape her following a frightening experience at his house.
However, despite his reputation, Frank is expected to reject Carla in their upcoming plot - before looking after her when she passes out in her drunken state.
Discussing the scenes, a Weatherfield source told the newspaper: "Frank refuses to take advantage of Carla and viewers will be left confused as to his true nature."
