As announced last week, the factory worker is to be held on remand after being charged with three murders in a shock plot twist.
Soon after entering jail, Fiz becomes deeply disturbed when her cellmate Ginny dies from an overdose caused by drugs which have been smuggled in, according to the Daily Star.
Fiz is apparently inspired to do something to tackle the problem and later discovers that the source of the gear is another inmate named Ruth, who takes supplies from her drug dealer boyfriend each time he visits.
However, Fiz is expected to face a dilemma over what to do next when Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) pays her a visit and advises her to keep quiet.
Becky is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "If you know what's good for you, you'll keep your mouth shut. No-one inside likes a grass and they'll shut your mouth for you permanently if you tell anyone."
Coronation Street's jail plot for Fiz occurs after the police decide that she must have been involved in her husband John's crime spree, which centred around the deaths of three characters.
Show producer Phil Collinson has confirmed that Fiz will face trial in the autumn.
