As previously released, Fiz - who is played by Jennie McAlpine - will be attacked after fellow inmates suspect that she has provided information to prison wardens. With threats made against herself and daughter Hope, Fiz's friends will attempt to convince the gang to leave the terrified mother alone.
However, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Kirk (Andy Whyment)'s plan to blackmail Leon doesn't go to plan, the Daily Star claims. While planning to film him dealing, the duo are caught in the act.
In scenes due to air this summer, they will apparently attack Leon with a baseball bat, then lock him in a walk-in freezer at Ashley Peacock's former butchers' shop.
"They would make ridiculous gangsters," a source told the paper. "Naturally he's spitting blood with rage when he comes round and realises what they have done.
"They know they are out of their depth but they've got no idea what to do... Tyrone begs Gary [Windass] to help and the lads take it in turns to look after their prisoner."
The insider teased: "It's not a bright move as Leon's gang members start hunting for him and the criminal vows to get his revenge on the lads. Instead of helping Fiz, they've made things ten times worse."
