'Coronation Street' Julie, Brian 'to be fooled in UFO prank'

Coronation Street's eccentric couple Julie Carp and Brian Packham will be left spooked when they fall victim to a UFO prank in a forthcoming storyline.

As revealed last month, the pair will soon find a new shared interest when they think they have seen strange objects overhead, prompting them to keep watch on the skies.

Julie and Brian's UFO spotting storyline takes a new twist when Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) find out about their hobby and decide to have some fun of their own, the Daily Mail reports.

As the loved-up duo camp out for their second night watch, mischievous Tyrone and Tommy hide in a bush and fool them by placing a toy UFO on the end of a fishing rod.

Julie and Brian (Peter Gunn) are expected to receive a shock when they see the 'UFO', but whether Tyrone and Tommy are caught out remains to be seen.

Katy Cavanagh, who plays Julie, recently admitted that she would like her character to marry Brian in a future storyline. The couple reunited on screen in the summer.
